WOWEE One of my favorites so far… been back twice so far. Will go again and again. The pictures are exactly how it is. Elegant and you need want for anything. On main street but you wouldn’t know it. Peaceful and quiet. The best sleep ever. opened the loft door on to the street while you are sleeping and listen to the birds waking u up. very safe neighborhood. everything is within walking distance

Our stay in this Victorian Cottage was absolutely delightful – it is like being able to vacation in a fairy tale. The house is absolutely gorgeous – a stunning example of architecture – the location in Nevada City is perfect and the furnishings by the owner are so thoughtful and tasteful. My husband and I loved our week spent in this gorgeous, perfectly outfitted, super clean and comfortable home. It was stocked with everything we needed from washer and dryer, to truly great books and movies, and exceptionally comfortable bed, living room and patio furniture all in terrific shape. (And best of all, there was no old funky old food from previous guests, hooray.) The owner was really helpful and responsive when we had a question while we were there. I am ashamed to say that it has been a year since I spent two nights here with my girlfriends! In three weeks, I am doing flowers for a wedding in town, and the bride and groom are staying here. So, I had to get my act together and write a long overdue review. Attention to detail is what comes to mind about this beautiful house. We rented this cottage for the week between Christmas & New Year…Family tradition was a week at Dillon Beach annually but it had been a really tramatic year in our family & I decided we needed something unfamiliar & hoped that would take my mind off of my current trama…Wow!! Upon the urging of my girlfriend who has since rented the gorgeous wonderland house, I wish to amend my earlier review by mentioning that not only is it perfect for “lovers” but it is actually large enough for two couples or even a small family unit. It is “well appointed” and has two large areas for separate occupation. So, if you want to fall or stay in love, this is a fine place to have it happen. But if you want to just make a friendship bond stronger, it is perfect for that as well.… Read more
